Myrtle Beach, S.C. (PRWEB) July 20, 2007 -- Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore, with stores in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, will be holding free golf clinics for juniors on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the summer. Attendees will get to experience first-hand instruction from a staff of in-store PGA professionals.
The beginner clinics (Mini-Tour) will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. Intermediate clinics (Nationwide Tour) will be held from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
More information is available online at www.pgatoursuperstore.com or by calling the Myrtle Beach location at 843-839-4653 or the North Myrtle Beach location at 843-272-6030.
There will be a skills test for each level at the completion of a clinic cycle. Once a golfer completes all the skills tests from the Mini-Tour, they will graduate to the Nationwide Tour. Upon graduation from the Nationwide Tour, each student will receive a graduation certificate and a certificate for a free individual lesson. Each level will consist of more advanced instruction and harder skills challenges. Students involved in the clinics will also learn rules and etiquette, which will be part of the skills test for each level.
"As the juniors develop their playing skills, we also want them to learn, understand and appreciate the Rules of Golf and etiquette required of its players," said Pat Graw, general manager of the North Myrtle Beach Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore. "We want these clinics to teach the kids more than just the mechanics of golf. We think the life lessons they will take home are just as important."
Clinics are being offered at both the Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach locations of Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore.

What a Load of Golf Balls
Through out the history of golf the golf ball has evolved more than any other piece of equipment used in the game. Jack Nicklaus And Tiger Woods - "The Best Of The Best"
I mentioned Jack first, or should I say, Mr. Nicklaus in the title because alphabetically and historically I think he deserves that courtesy, but they both should be credited with phenomenal accomplishments for their time in Golf History. I grew up with Jack for my golf hero just as I had Mickey Mantle as my baseball idol in my formative years. I have admired many ball players since but no one can take the place of Mantle in my book.
